Matt will share the city’s groundbreaking climate initiatives, including the creation of the Task Force on Climate and Economic Equity to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030 and to be net-zero by 2050; securing 25 percent renewable energy by 2025; and a Comprehensive Energy Plan incorporating electrification, energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives for municipal buildings and fleet.
