Blair has over 12 years of experience in energy efficiency and sustainability. As a project manager, Blair is responsible for ensuring project success by leveraging his extensive experience in HVAC systems, controls, lighting, plug loads, compressed air, process heating, and industrial processes. In addition to energy efficiency opportunity identification and calculations, Blair has managed implementation processes, including preparing scopes of work, writing sequences of operations, selecting and contracting with sub-contractors, troubleshooting issues during implementation, and commissioning the solution. Mr. Willcox is a licensed Professional Engineer, a Department of Energy qualified specialist in process heating (PHAST) and compressed air (AIRMaster+). Prior to joining the Edison Energy team, Blair worked at Boulder Energy Engineers as a Senior Energy Engineer and Owner, where his responsibilities included: working with large hospital systems to implement monitoring-based commissioning and developed new sequences on existing HVAC and central plant equipment, developing relationships with facility staff to generate “buy-in” on new sequences and the monitoring-based commissioning approach, performing site investigations on education, commercial, hospitality, and biomedical manufacturing facilities to develop retrofit plans and troubleshoot existing operations, and nurturing business development, monthly ownership meetings, bookkeeping, and other requirements of running a small business. Prior to Boulder Energy Engineers, Blair worked at Overlay Consulting as a Senior Energy Manager.
