Alex Fried, is a Senior Purchasing Manager in Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Global Energy purchases group since March 2017. He is responsible for energy sourcing at nine P&G Manufacturing sites, is the lead buyer for renewable Energy purchase deals in North America, and is responsible for gas drilling operations at P&G’s Mehoopany Pennsylvania manufacturing facility.
Alex joined P&G in 1987, and worked for 30 years in various manufacturing management roles at the P&G Mehoopany PA facility (P&G’s largest manufacturing plant in the world), including multiple energy savings related projects which then transitioned into energy sourcing responsibilities.
Alex earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Marywood University.
