While much of the focus in decarbonization strategies has been on the supply side, demand-side distributed technologies are becoming an increasingly useful and effective tool in reducing carbon and managing operating costs. We’ll explore which approaches are working best, what technologies are most applicable, and how do companies accelerate the utilization of DERs in order to further their goals? We’ll also ask how these strategies – as well as other facets of the energy industry – are affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
