Ashley Gebler is the Director of Business Operations and Technology at NRG Energy, where she leads our DER Business Operations team focused on customer relations, information technology, metering, and data analytics. Ashley is responsible for market strategy, management of the demand response position, and oversees the team that assists customers in executing demand response tests and emergency activations. Ashley’s current responsibilities include maintaining and improving internal business systems and processes to support growth and scalability across all products and markets. She oversees the team responsible for customer experience/relations. This team delivers a combined 90+ years of energy experience to customers. Additionally, Ashley has direct oversight and management of the online platform customers utilize to manage their curtailment for demand response events. She is highly skilled in the following areas: portfolio management and optimization, data analytics, attention to detail, and is a dedicated leader and team member.

Ashley has been with NRG since 2010 and is based in Buffalo. She was responsible for building out and managing the 24/7/365 Network Operations Center (NOC) until it transitioned to Commercial Operations in 2020. She has a Bachelor of Science in International Business, Marketing, and Management from Canisius College.
